Winner of the XLIX International Music Competition "Dr Luis Sigall", Viña del Mar

In November 2017, the annual international music competition "Dr. Luis Sigall" took place in Viña del Mar, Chile. With a $10.000USD First Prize and concert engagements in Chile's foremost classical music festival -Semanas Musicales de Frutillar-, it is one of only two Latin-American music competitions to be a member of the World Federation of International Music Competitions - WFIMC (http://www.wfimc.org/), making it one of the most prestigious events of its kind. Every year it rotates between 5 specialities: violin, cello, piano, voice, and guitar. Thus, the guitar edition is celebrated once every 5 years.
